I love learning, and I'm a teacher at heart. When I'm not helping Kalkomey develop their next-generation online courses, I devote much of my time to the pursuit of knowledge — reading, creating, traveling, and chasing the elusive goal of multilingual fluency.

Along the way, I've earned a math degree, taught college English, worked on nuclear submarines, joined a startup as employee number three, and authored a pair of Red Sox fan blogs that took on a life of their own. I spent eight years helping curate the program for SXSW Interactive.

I make my home in Plano, Texas, with my wife and fellow adventurer, Erika, and our French Bulldog, Diego.
